      Risk Analyst Interview

      Apr 21, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Mumbai
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at UBS (Mumbai) in Feb 2026

      Interview

Pros: The technical interview process was well-structured, and the interviewer was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. It was a genuinely good interaction and reflected well on the technical team. Cons: The HR experience was extremely disappointing. After the first round, there was complete silence , no updates, no feedback, and no closure. Multiple attempts to reach out via email and phone were either ignored or met with an unprofessional tone. The recruiter who initially contacted me was helpful, but her contact suddenly became unreachable without any explanation. The recruiter listed on the interview scheduling portal was difficult to communicate with and came across as dismissive dare I say downright scornful Even more concerning, I later learned through an acquaintance that the position remained open over 45 days after my interview, yet no effort was made to communicate a decision or status update. Advice to Management: Improve candidate communication and accountability within HR. Even a standard rejection or delay update goes a long way in maintaining the company’s reputation among candidates. Overall: Strong technical team, but the hiring experience is undermined by poor HR coordination and lack of professionalism.

Recorded video interview then a video call panel interview with two people. Video call was the general interview questions - intro, motivational, situational and behavioral. Panel interview was more technical and geared to test my understandingof the job.

      Interview

A few rounds of assessments including video and then a three-round super day (all online). Interviewers were very polite and were understanding throughout the entire process. The recruitment team takes somewhat long to schedule everything so don’t stress if you don’t receive an update immediately.
