The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UBS (Houston, TX) in Jan 2012
Interview
The communications and interview set up with the company were very professional. The interview was a 30 minute interview. They started out asking about myself and my resume and what classes I liked and didn't like in college. Then they went on to ask technical questions. They were helpful and explained if I didn't get an answer completely right. They also did a great job of explaining their roles at UBS and why they liked their jobs.
Informal and 50/50 split between behavioral and technical. Consisted of 4 phone calls with various members of the team, starting with director, and then Senior Associate, and then Analyst for the more technical interview.
Standard technicals, but not the best culturally. Asked to walk through M&A transaction, as well as mental math. Asked to talk to previous experiences, particularly past technical experience. Very very serious.
Interview questions [1]

Mental math IE- a rope burns from two ends at 30 minutes... etc
