I applied through other source. I interviewed at UBS (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
Was fast tracked to an accelerated Superday specifically for previous sophomore interns. Superday with 3 groups meant to focus on specific areas (technical, behavioral, etc). Last interview went 15 minutes over allotted time and I was grilled on technicals I did not know (coming from liberal arts school - had glanced over vault/WSJ before but they asked total tossups). Two of the interviews were group interviews with 2 interviewers. A couple of the interviewers were nice, the rest were not.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Your resume screams x, so why don't you want to go into x instead of banking?
The process consisted of a Hirevue type interview, then superday with mix of standard technicals with more senior members of the team, had to discuss company / news I found interesting

Question 1
Standard technical questions, behavioral with more senior bankers
Applied and got an email for a HireVue. They gave 7 days to complete it. It was very straightforward and easy. Just like other HireVues and not too many questions. Not the hardest questions in the world but not the easiest. Just an average experience.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at UBS in Sep 2025
Interview
Standard technical questions, tell me about yourself, where you see yourself in 5 years, pitch a stock, walk through a deal you’ve done, time to ask them questions. Some of the ppl can obviously look checked out so don’t take it personally.
