I recently applied for a Wealth Management Process and Quality Specialist role at UBS and was extremely disappointed with how the recruitment process was handled.
After completing the online assessment over a month and a half ago, I received no updates on my application. I had put in significant time and effort to prepare, only to receive a generic rejection email stating that the position had already been filled. What’s frustrating is that I know candidates who performed poorly were rejected within two days, while I was left in limbo for weeks without any indication of my status.
If I wasn’t selected, that’s understandable—what’s unacceptable is the lack of transparency and respect for candidates' time. At the very least, I should have been informed earlier instead of being kept waiting without any real consideration.
UBS emphasizes a commitment to its employees and talent acquisition, but this experience suggests otherwise. If you’re considering applying, be prepared for an inefficient and impersonal process.
Would not recommend applying unless you’re prepared for a long, unclear, and frustrating wait.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (São Paulo, ) in Jun 2024
Interview
I got through 3 steps interview in UBS for an intern role in Asset Management. I have to admit that candidate portal structure was very clear and interviewers were friendly and professional.
