Interview with 5 different people and two pairing tests over the course of seven hours spread over 3 days. On boarding occurs relatively quickly as UBS are highly enabled. Spoken interviews were relatively informal. Pairing sessions were fun.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UBS (London, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
Started with an online application form, pretty standard, with some questions such as why UBS etc. Then online tests, again these were pretty standard, having to complete a numerical and diagrammatic reasoning test. Following this was a short telephone interview of roughly 15-20 minutes, comprising of competency questions and why UBS, why your chosen position, also know the impact of the financial crisis as you will have to relate this to your chosen field. After passing this I heard back two weeks later informing me I had been invited to an assessment centre in London. The day started at 8:45 and finished around 2. It consisted of an initial numerical test, 20 questions in 20 minutes (I completed around 12/13 questions and still managed to pass). Passing this is a requirement to continue with the process. After this you have 30 minutes to read over some information on a fictitious company and prepare a presentation on the business strategy for the company over the next 2/3 years, which you will have to present in front of those interviewing later on. Possibly use SWOT analysis and ensure you have enough content to talk about as it's meant to be a 10 minute presentation. This was followed by two interviews; in most cases this would be a technical and competency interview but I had two competency interviews with different managers. Finally is the group discussion which again is pretty standard. Just try to ensure you actively promote UBS values and come up with innovative ideas, allowing others to speak etc. I was informed 3 weeks later I hadn't been successful. Good luck!

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UBS (Hongkong) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview was nice until the last page, however, after the final interview, they did not send me any feedback which many of other company did. it started with online test. Then, followed by phone interview and then someone contacted me to have final interview which lasted for half day.
Overall, the interview process was smooth and great
