I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Brookfield, CT) in Nov 2014
Interview
Wasn't really an interview, they just verified that you can carry boxes and function as a human being. Just took a copy of my license and filled out emergency contact info.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Salt Lake City, UT) in Aug 2012
Interview
phone, then online assessment, then panel group style interview - it was a bit chaotic to have the other candidates interviewing at the same time. but it was a doable situation, just do your best to answer without rambling too much.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at UPS (Ontario, CA)
Interview
Begin by applying online and waiting for a response. When you are contacted they will ask you to go into the HUB that you specified working for. You will be part of a group that go into a class and will go over the specifications needed for the job. After this you will go in for a one on one interview. If they like you they will bring you back for a tour of the facility and then you start when they ask you to come in.
I was hired during peak season. Don't know if this is the process that is used during the rest of the year.
