I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at UPS (Durham, NC) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied online. Once I submitted my application, I was asked to select time to meet with HR for an interview. It was a group interview where we were shown around the facility, told the nature of the work and then met briefly 1 on 1 with HR.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very straight forward about whether I could be able to handle the physical aspects of the job.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at UPS (Hodgkins, IL) in Jun 2011
Interview
You primarily spend your interview process on a computer inputting basic information about yourself into the UPS employment system. The other half is spent waiting around for an unknown length of time.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Phoenix, AZ) in Oct 2015
Interview
It was a group presentation in Phoenix, with a brief tour, and quick prequal interview as part of a multistage selection process. We had a pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging presenter, who clearly laid out the rigors of the job and a bit of the company's Union culture. He stressed that Union rules precluded seasonal drivers from becoming regulars because there's a 4-5 year waiting list among company ranks.
Unfortunately, though I've had just one 2-point ticket in ten years (TX), the fact that it occurred this year disqualified me, so I didn't proceed with the rest of the process.
