I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at UPS (Kansas City, MO) in Jul 2013
Interview
I was hired on the spot automatically. It was not hard at all. I was asked if I had ever worked with Microsoft word, excel, etc. I was also asked why I wanted this job with UPS. I was asked if I knew what UPS stood for. It stands for United Parcel Service for anyone curious.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Denver, CO) in Dec 2014
Interview
There was a somewhat lengthy interview process wherein after i was applying i was contacted by a recruiter for a quick phone intro/interview. After that i took critical reasoning tests and personality tests, i assume to establish culture fit. after the tests, i was contacted by the HR department at the office and did a webex interview (i was living out of state at the time). They used a 3rd party to contact my references which i wasn't thrilled about and it took a long time for them to get back to me. i only heard about 2 weeks before i was supposed to start working and move states.
