I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Providence, RI) in Jun 2013
Interview
Straightforward and interviewer explained role and responsibilities thoroughly. Gave an honest assessment of types of working environments that workers encounter and challenges they face. The interview was a three step process: over the phone, in person, and fifty - one hundred questions on the computer. Easy enough to pass. The process took nearly thirty days to complete background check and badge issuance.

Very easy. Apply online at UPS for package handler position and you will be given an orientation tour date and time. Take the tour and from there, decide if you want to continue with the job. After you tell the HR manager you wish to continue, They will then do a formal interview which is not very hard.

Interview
There was an over the phone interview followed by a face to face interview that only described the job position and responsibilities. Very few questions were asked about my qualifications for the job because they've already decided if they would hire you based of your referral and over the phone interview.
