I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UPS (Denver, CO) in Nov 2018
Interview
Easy, go when they have a hiring event, they practically fill out the application for you . When you apply online yourself you may be required to have a face time style type of interview with the typical questions like what is your work experience, what makes you think you'll be a good fit for the position, are you comfortable lifting things above 30 pounds etc. During hiring events take advantage of them because they aren't picky on who they hire, just show up and be willing to have them do a background check.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Portland, OR) in Nov 2019
Interview
The hiring process was simple. You just find which location you want to work at and apply for it on their site. You'll have to take a test showing your skills and if you pass that test then you can get it. It's as simple as that. Depending on the season you may or may not be selected even if you pass. If you pass during the fall you'll get in no doubt about it because of peak season.
