I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UPS in Jul 2014
Interview
I applied online and was then prompted to schedule a time for a what was basically a tour. I showed up along with perhaps 6 other people. We were guided throughout the facility which only took about 20 minutes. This person doing the tour emphasized throughout that the work is very physical and all of that. At the tour's conclusion, we wrote down our names and phone numbers and that was it. No one was actually interviewed. The process didn't make much sense to me as it would have been hard for anyone to make an impression from a simple tour. I honestly probably got called up and offered the job because I had a family connection with a supervisor, who thankfully was a supervisor for the drivers at the time, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get hired due to their rules.

Interview
Applied online. Went for the group interview. Very impersonal and casual. One woman came in pajamas. Walked around and toured the place and that was about it. Tried scaring us out of the position by saying how hard it was. It's just packages lol.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UPS (Anderson, SC) in Aug 2011
Interview
Before the shift began I walked through the center with the lead manager for the second shift. He asked me how I felt about working there. I told him that I was looking forward to it. He explained how the unload process and load process worked. It was very different from any other interview I have ever been in. He didn't ask to much ablout me but just talked about the center. But at the time I was just excited about the new job.
