I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at UPS (Baldwin Park, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
Filled out online application and was asked to choose an interview date at the end. I went in with a group of about 30 people. The interviewer went over the requirements (clean cut, no jewelry/tats/piercings, hair up, able to lift 75lb, 150 w/ assistance, be on call 8-1 and available 8a-8p). The interviewer stressed that if you commit to the job it is 0-30 hours, $8.50, seasonal and you need to follow through with the position, which will last about 6 weeks.

Question 1
If you were hired and then offered a permanent position elsewhere, would you take it?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS in Dec 2010
Interview
I applied online and attended a group presentation and initial interview screening. The presentation was an informational session about the company, the driver helper position requirements and what a typical day looked like. The interview was easy: the interviewer just reviewed the personal info I filled out online and the dates I was available to work. I would suggest being available to work for 2 weeks or more to get the position. The whole process took about 2 hours.
