I met a Recruiter, they got me sent to MEPS were I was checked out and everything was fine. A bit later They got me down to Texas were Basic Training Started. Basic sucked but was not impossible, just stick with it and don't let the TI get in your head. Most anyone can do the physical work but the hard part is keeping your mind together.

It is an extensive background check that will take a few months to complete. You go to MEPS, take your ASVAB. Based on your score and you "dream sheet" they will place you where they think you would fit best.
