My last interview the hiring person called me from FL to MT and asked if I know computers said yes and he hired me on the spot. My interview before that was 20years ago but interviewed for hotel night auditor was only asked a few questions and got the job. Time before that was with the postal service where took test and was hired.

Question 1
One time trying to get a job working at the capital in MT was (before I was trained on it) was I was told to take 5 computers on the work bench and install cards and network them together. Due to lack of knowledge on the subject matter I of course failed. This has been many, many years ago before I received IT training.
I applied in-person. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at US Air Force
Interview
This process was fairly easy however it can be quite lengthy depending on what job you want and your life experiences. Personally it took me over 8 months due to previous medical issues.
