Interview
The interview process to be selected for placement into basic military training for the U.S. Air Force was very standard; recruiters essentially are only looking for people who meet or don't meet the basic standards. The recruiter will ask a potential applicant basic fitness and health questions before furthering the process to ensure applicant makes the minimum standards.

I met with a recruiter in my hometown and we started the long process of getting me enlisted. One thing I noticed was that I had to reach out to my recruiter to keep the process going--rather than him hounding me, I had to be on top of everything, which was good. We went through the initial screenings, and then through the ASVAB, and a few other mandatory appointments.
Generally speaking, it was pretty straightforward but took a long time. Be prepared to be offered additional money to add two years to your enlistment, which is a bad idea.

Easygoing. Not too pushy for details. They're more likely to approve someone than turn them away. Key is to be honest. Also important is to know what you want to do; going in open general is not recommended, as they will put you where bodies are needed, often into the more undesirable jobs.
