Theres not much to do to join. Talk to a recruiter to get you started! Depending on your past, you may have to clear somethings up or you may have to meet with someone to get your security clearance (if you need one).

Question 1
There were no difficult questions. Everything is based on how you answer and your history.
Contacted a recruiter about joining the Navy. Recieved several calls back from recruiters selling me about the Navy. Took the asvab test. Went to MEPS for a physical, mental, exam which took all day long. Sat down with another recruiter to choose my job, signed my contract, sweared in.
I applied online. The process took 9 months. I interviewed at US Navy (New York, NY) in Jan 2014
Interview
The only interview was with the recruiter. I did not have to answer any other questions in person prior to the ASVAB test. Once completed, scored high enough to enlist, and assigned a date to appear at MEPS station. Once physical completed, I was sworn into the service.
