I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Navy
Interview
This is a multiple day hiring process that includes a IQ test along with a full medical screening. You will have to submit to a background investigation and take multiple drug tests. Once you are given a contract you may have to wait up to a year before shipping to basic training.

Question 1
medical questions, background questions, legal questions
There was no interview process. You, however, must meet age requirements and fitness standards. You must also pass the entrance exam, known as the ASVAB to determine which roles you qualify for.
ASVAB, you start as a Seaman Recruit, then move towards your promotion. The promotions usually happen in time. Then once you reach E3 or Seaman, wait 6 months to take the 3rd Class exam. You usually take exams 2x a year. Studying is required and there is a minimum percentile required to pass. The quotas change every exam date.
There was no technical interview process. The recruiter did ask questions. Essentially all I had to do was talk to a recruiter, take the ASVAB, go through a physical exam, and sign a contract.
