I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Navy (West Springfield, MA) in Jan 2013
Interview
not too truthful or in depth of the actual jobs or what is expected. everything is sugar coated and mostly the opposite of what they say. you wont be prepared for anything that your getting in to with their information.

N/A. There is no interview process. The Navy has a zero tolerance drug policy. You get drug tested and they'll do a criminal background check. Unless you have a high risk issue the process is fairly smooth. Recruiters do lie ! Even when they claim to be telling you the truth. Do your research and ask military veterans about their experience.
It has changed recently - I really do not know. My best advice would be to contact a recruiter or to contact a region legal service office to speak with a junior attorney who might be able to help out with details about the process
