Going to meps, taking the asvab and doing screening. Then after that we go and pick our jobs based on our asvab scores which is more or less an aptitude test to see which jobs you qualify for in the military. This is with all branches of services.

Record reviewed by panel of JICOs . They screen all candidates and determine who will be selected for the board process and interview. Each candidate takes turn going in front of a board . Board ask questions related to the JICO job and about the candidate work history and background.

Interview
You can go into any Navy Recruiter or call any Navy recruitment office and they will be able to assist you. You will walk in, show the Sailors you are serious and take a test to see what jobs you qualify for. The recruiters will assist you with almost everything but you will have to show some incentive.
