Interview
Really smooth and they answered all my questions. The team that I will be part of seemed to have a lot of knowledge and resources. Looking forward to this journey.

Pre-Screening (Recruiter Interview)
The process begins when you meet with a U.S. Navy recruiter, either in person or online. This initial meeting is to determine if you meet the basic qualifications for enlistment, such as age, citizenship, health, and educational requirements.
You'll be asked to provide personal information, including your educational background, work experience, and any criminal history. This will help the recruiter assess your eligibility.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Navy (San Antonio, TX) in Sep 2023
Interview
They make you feel like the process is much more serious than it is. Don't be scared, but also I would advise answering certain questions tactfully. Don't accept any job you don't want unless you truly don't care or you need to be sent to bootcamp quickly for reasons such as lack of housing. Pick a job you actually have an interest in or one that is secure for life after the Navy.

Question 1
Why the military? Why the Navy? Have you ever done dru gs? Have you ever had any run-ins with the law?
