A lot of paper work. Place well on your ASVAB so you get a great job. If you score low your going to get a very labor long hour job. What I like about the Navy is they place value on intelligence.

You pass a test, go to boot camp. They send you to someone who asks what you want to do and they may or may not make you that rating. It depends on the needs of the Navy

The interview process to join the Navy included a background check, drug screening and physical. the interviewers also known as recruiters are experts in determining whether or not a person has the mental capacity to handle the possible stress of recruit training. Also the ASVAB is key in determining what field you will work in.
