Interview
You approach recruiters at any station, and can begin the dialogue and learning about what options are available to you. You will take an ASVAB test to determine your cursory knowledge of mathematics, English, science, mechanics and logic. Based on your scores, you enter into Delayed Entry until you go to boot camp.

I walked into a recruiting office, filled out lots of paperwork, and took aptitude tests at the Military Entrance Processing (MEPS) center. I consented to a background check, urinalysis, and had to meet physical fitness requirements as a condition for employment.

Standard interview process: they asked about my interests and desires, what my background entailed and if I liked working with people to help them achieve their dreams and goals. Additionally, they asked me about my physical fitness to fulfill the job requirements and if I minded working long hours.
