I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Navy (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
The interview process was very coordinated, stress-free (though exciting), and informative. Everyone was very friendly upon arriving at the facility, even the security guards. I met the potential team and although they asked me some tough questions, we all came out of it very informed. I would have joined the team but I got an offer at another location that was also pretty amazing and located in a place I'd rather live.

Question 1
What would you say was the biggest failure of your career?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Navy (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
There was/is no process. You must know what you want to do, and be qualified to do it in accordance with your ASVAB score, and there must be openings available. DO not take your second choice just to get in. Hold out for what you want. Otherwise you could be miserable for the length of your contract and your career set back.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Navy (Brainerd, MN) in Sep 2011
Interview
The first step in becoming a Navy SEAL or SWCC is the screening process your recruiter gives you. Its pointless to lie about the numbers. Your recruiter is not hooking you up and you will never make it past a real instructor. You will take the physical test below more than 30 times in the next 2 years. (if you make it that far) These numbers are minimum. I suggest you take 2-3 minutes off the run and swim and double the rest. Good Luck.
Swim 500m under 10.5 minutes, 6 pull-ups, 42 pushups, 50 situps, run 1.5 miles run under 11 minutes
