Interview
You have to meet with a recruiter first. They do a background check on you. There is a test you must take called the ASVAB to see what types of jobs you qualify for. Then you have to go to MEPS and have a physical. The Navy allows you to pick your job while you are committing to an enlistment.

Interview
Recruitment followed by boot camp must meet certain weight, health, and fitness standards. Must pass entrance exams and score determines position eligibility. Do your research prior to going to the recruiting office, their are many opportunities through ROTC programs.
Start by finding a recruiter. After backround checks I had to take my asvab test to see what job I was qualified for. After given some options for jobs I chose to be an aircraft mechanic. I then got my physical at MEPS and went to bootcamp.
