Study for the ASVAB. The better the score the more chooses you have as far as jobs. Chose something that will help you in the civilian sector. Dont choose something that just seems fun and you can slack off on. This method will lead you to disappointment in the long run.

Turn your head and cough. Now turn your head the other way and cough. Then there is the peanut butter shot. You get this shot in boot camp. You only get it once.

Interview
Apply at your local recruiting station. They will have you fill out paperwork and take a practice test to see if you qualify. You must be able to pass a physical, a written exam encompassing English, basic math and reading comprehension, science and data entry, and a background check. If you have committed any felony, you won't pass.
