UniCredit Group interview questions

Managed to go through all the steps of the selection process including the assessment center and the final interview with a manager only to be put down from the list by the HR employee. The final interview with a manager was scheduled within an hour after I was asked about my availability. During the final interview with the manager of the department, he assured me that they are interested in my candidacy and the HR department will get back to me within a week. They didn't, as I called back myself the manager had no further information and when I reached the HR department the employee told me they put me down from me list cause my German was not good enough. German language was never listed as a prerequisite for this program and the final interview was in German btw. The department, according to the manager was supposed to be international. Overall, waste of time, disappointing experience. The whole process took around 2,5 months.
