There was actually no interview process as it was conducted through an online application. However, they asked about my interest in oursuing the MPhil, plans for the future as well as for an academic cv and academic transcript.
The Cambridge interview process typically involves several stages, including academic interviews, problem-solving discussions, and personal statement reviews. It is designed to assess intellectual curiosity, analytical reasoning, communication ability, and subject-specific understanding.
General motivational and fit chat. I think most of the candidate selection was done based on the submitted CVs, motivational letters and references. No technical questions or discussions during the actual interview.
It was an intellectually stimulating interview with many of questions relevant to the course content. Interviewer was very kind. Asked follow up questions. Relevant to the degree. Can be a little challenging towards the end but overall manageable.
