I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at University of Cambridge in Oct 2023
Interview
Standard behavioural questions were asked, without a technical round. I found it challenging to demonstrate my experience in computational biology with just a spoken interview. The HR was not very interactive throughout the process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, East of England, England)
Interview
I applied online. Heard back from the professor directly, scheduled an informal meeting, more to elaborate on the open project and to understand if my background and interests align. After that we scheduled a more extensive interview, work presentation slot and meeting-with-the-lab sessions. Enjoyed every bit of the process. Good discussions with the prof and lab. But I didn't get the offer, was informed over email after 1.5 weeks. However, I really appreciated that the prof also provided me with feedback in the email.
