I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (London, England) in Feb 2023
Interview
Panel interview of three professors/clinicians. Questions were asked regarding my degree, aspirations, why I wanted to be an intern on the programme, etc. There were a few technical questions also.
The interview was an average process (although it was long and tedious) and I was happy with the level of communication and professionalism showed by the professors and other interviewers
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Oct 2023
Interview
The process took 1 week. Got invited to an interview a few days after the application deadline. The interview took half an hour. The panel was made of 3 people - the PI, a post-doc and a collaborator, all very friendly and welcoming. Was given a maths problem to solve 1h before the interview, and had provide my solution on a piece of paper and also as a code 15mins before the start of the interview. Also had to talk them through my solution. They also gave me a scenario and asked what kind of distribution would be appropriate to model this sort of data, etc. Very technical questions, all around fundamental statistics, but also project-specific.
