I applied online. I interviewed at University of Cambridge in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied for the job online and was invited to interview 5 days later. The interview took place 5 days after the invitation. The experience overall was good, the interviewers were friendly. I had to do a presentation of my work which they asked questions about and then they asked me what I knew about the field the job was in and what I had read about the research from that lab. Some questions about my own work were quite challenging.

Question 1
Describe a time when you have had to overcome a problem, what did you do?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Jan 2012
Interview
Get the application and then get the interview. Supervisor will ask your past project and course. Ask some further question. In my opinion, grade is very important in terms of application. If you experience matches further research, that will be better.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, East of England, England)
Interview
First round written application of proposed project and CV, second round written application with more details on project ('long short list of 12'). This was followed by an interview day (shortlist of 5) - consisting of a presentation in the morning (anyone could attend except the other shortlisted candidates); lunch (with everyone in the department and the interview panel); interview (7 on panel). The final day was very exhausting but the job offer came that evening.
