Upwork interview questions

I was requested to submit a sample before hire. Got hired for the job. Payment was through the platform with a 10% commission deducted which I felt was a bit high.

Interview with the Recruiter. Interview with the hiring manager. Panel interview to present my portfolio. Multiple individual 1:1 interviews. The entire process was weeks. GHOSTED. Never received a rejection email or call. A job is a mutual fit and I can respect when I am not the right fit for the company as it has been the opposite at times in the past. But, I have no tolerance for a lack of respect after so many hours invested. Not only did they lose my interest forever, but I was a consultant for them and I dropped my account. Communication and building relationships is everything -- and to burn me rather than feed my desire to work for them in the. future is unprofessional.
