Interview
Screen ing call with recruiter went well, recruiter friendly and engaged.. next interview was a zoom call however hiring manager never put on his camera. I had mine on; felt uncomfortable as it was ' one-sided'. Hiring manager already had candidates who was local; calling on same customers today so 'easy' choice which I understand. I like VMware; strong solution at right time. Hope I can join in another role.

What makes you unique for this role?
The whole process was well organised. The interviews were great in all aspects. The questions asked were reliable. I enjoyed the overall process. Only thing I‘d recommend changing is, that candidades have to upload a CV and still fill out the past jobs on the candidade homepage.

Kurze Vorstellung und Kennenlernen, dann Austausch zum Backround, sowie zur Stelle. Die Art und Weise der Kommunikation war stets auf Augenhöhe und professionell. Auch die besprochenen Timelines wurden von VMWare vorbildlich eingehalten. Man fühlt sich gut abgeholt und betreut.
Been reached out by one of their talent recruiter. Did first interview with HR then a second with the hiring manager and then no news/no update. I get that my profile wasn’t selected but what’s wrong with not giving a reply? I was really surprised as it’s the first time that I’m getting no update at all from a tech company and so, even after following up (literally ghosted). Beyond my little ego, I ve found it offbeat in comparison to the VMWare overall reputation. I would suggest to have a bit more consideration for your candidates.
