VMware Software Engineering interview questions

The interview was in a group of 6-7 people, however the applicants were not supposed to interact. Every applicant got a computer with internet, a prepared Google account and an Eclipse-like environment. The task was to write a client which searches Youtube by a keyword and represents the search results as a list of videos. It was allowed to use any code found in the Internet. The time allowed to complete the task was 2 and a half hours. The overall time was 3 hours. Every participant was called to a personal interview of half an hour with 2 interviewers.
