Veeam Software Inside Sales Representative interview questions

Recruiter reached out, had a quick HR interview, then a mock sales call and interview with the hiring manager, followed by a final interview with the Sales Director in charge of my territory

Initially interviewed for the Inside Sales Representative role at Veeam. They threw me around a loop and then told me that's not a role you can go straight into, so they then suggested interviewing for a Business Development Rep role instead. I then setup a Business Development Rep interview with them and during the interview my interviewer said that I should actually be targeting the Inside Sales Associate role. Kind of ridiculous in my opinion. I would be taking 3 steps backwards if I were to want to work for this company when I have well enough experience in order to fill the Inside Sales Rep role. A bit offensive if you ask me.
