I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Veolia (Lake Charles, LA) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was a fairly casual interview process. I think the Area Manager has a lot of discretion on how they want to interview Account Manager candidates. I applied through LinkedIn but I knew a person who already worked at the company so I had a referral (that may have made my interview process easier). I had a phone interview with the Area Manager, an in-person interview with the Area Manager, a web meeting/interview with all the other accountant managers in the Area, and one final phone interview with HR to check the box. The entire process from applying to receiving an offer was probably ~3 weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly behavioral based questions such as, “Tell me about a time when you had to deliver bad news about a project to a customer and how did you go about it”
I applied online. I interviewed at Veolia (Hackensack, NJ)
Interview
The interview was a virtual video call with 2 team members. Before being interviewed you must take a skills assessment and go through a phone screening interview. After not hearing back from the team members I sent them a follow up email which I got no response. They very rudely ghosted me. They did not value my time and effort put in this process so it does not even bother me that I did not get a job offer.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Veolia? How do you handle customer complaints?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Veolia (Omaha, NE) in May 2024
Interview
A veolia recruiter reached out to me because I had years of relevant experience for this position. They gave me a salary range and then I did a few interviews. When it came time, they sent me a lowball offer that was $20k below the initial projection I was told. I told them I wouldn’t make a career change for that and that it was frustrating to go through all that with expectations from the initial call, spending about 4 hours of my time talking to them and doing interviews in which there wasn’t any concern brought up to explain the decrease. The response I got from the potential manager was that it shouldn’t be all about money, I should do it for passion and they didn’t want to increase the salary at all. Classic bait and switch.

Question 1
What are some of my past contributions I’ve made to solve issues with industrial water systems?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Veolia (Hamilton, ON) in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview process consists of 3-4 stages. Candidates progress through initial interviews before facing area and regional managers in the final round, which includes a presentation. The overall experience is described as straightforward.
