I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Walgreens (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
Applied through college board. Initial interviewed was held on campus and this interview lasted for about 30 mins. Questions were based on Behavioural type situations. eg. tell me about a time a customer had an issue and what did you do to resolve it? After this initial stage was sent to a Walgreens store to take a test. got called in about a week for a 2nd round of interview. The 2nd interview was at HQ in Los angeles.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
Very casual and experience in retail is a plus. The daily tasks are pretty simple and could be considered an entry level job. The HR recruiter also asked about what I would do in hypothetical scenarios with customers.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Riverside, CA) in Nov 2016
Interview
My interview was done at one of the Walgreens stores within the area. I was interviewed by two store managers. All the questions were on a sheet of paper and they were all star (situation, task, action, result method questions. I think I answered maybe 5-7 questions talking about customer service experience and making leadership decisions. The interview was average not too difficult. I would say it is important to come up with the best answer you can at the moment and be confident.
