I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview process was not too hard. The manager asked me basic questions such as why I want to work for the company and questions relating to the work environment.
First I filled out an online application, then I was emailed an invitation to take an assessment that last about 20 minutes - and all the questions were about work styles and personality fit

Question 1
Many personality questions and work style questions
Straightforward and to the point. Not many difficult questions for an entry level job. There were not many questions in general and it was mostly focused on how to handle difficult customer interactions.
Simple and quick. They just ask basic questions like what time you are available to work and what position interest you. They will adjust your working schedule if you are a student so no worries.
