I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Deerfield, IL) in Dec 2018
Interview
Interview in person with hiring manager and his manager ( after phone test). HR called me asking to apply for this position ( after I was rejected for my previous posting). The word unprofessional is a compliment to the hiring manager. He walked out in the middle of the interview without any apology, then came back in 20 minutes ( his boss continued conversation after recovering from shock himself) and walked me out of the door. It was obvious that the hiring manager either have candidate in mind ( or simply did not like me), but still such a behaviour should not be tolerated by any organization, yet he is allowed to interview people.

Question 1
Just general questions about experience. Some questions had one purpose : catch you saying something wrong
Multi stage interview consisting of screen, hiring manager and multiple panels. Relatively standard but a lot of questions around the role and situational scenarios on how projects and leadership should be conducted

Question 1
Describe a time you encountered a difficult team member and how did you approach it
initial screening call with recruiter, 1-1 video interview with manager on team (about your experience/background), final round is a panel interview (first 30-min are with 2 people (asking you questions about yourself), you present your deck for 10 min, then 10 min q&a, then final 30 min interview with other 2 panelists.

Question 1
What is one project/task you completed that you feel most proud of?
Behavioral questions and you go through recruiter screen, first round, and final round is a “surprise” case give 24 hours before. Seems like they’re screening more to see how you handle pressure and large workload rather than quality and skill. Also I was told not to spend “more than 1-2 hours” on it which was unrealistic given the case (in my opinion). To each their own, just wasn’t a fit for me.
