It was very easy, honestly. I got a call the same day I applied, went in and then had my call later that day that I had the job. They were very easygoing.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Garland, TX) in Jun 2016
Interview
It was easy. Went well. Background check. Said i would het a call back after background came in and i did. Came in for orientation and training for abput a week doing training on the computer.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Hermitage, TN) in Jun 2018
Interview
I was asked to wait for more than 30 minutes for a manager to come and speak with me when they finally got someone to talk to me for the interview it was not the manager I would be working under. Apparently, the manager I would be working underwent on her lunch break halfway through that 30 min wait and they had just given up on trying to reach her and sent in the first person they found available. The woman I talked to was friendly and heard me out when I explained that the last Walmart I worked for lied on paperwork about how I left the company and that the application process wouldn't allow me to update my information to confirm that I had received my Associate's degree. She promised I would not be treated as I was with my last store and that she would update my paperwork for me to show I received my degree. After being hired on I went back and asked 3 times about the difference in pay because of my degree (I knew it wouldn't be much but some pay is better than none). The first two times I was told they would get back to me and never did, the third time they told me there was nothing they could do because it was past my 30 day mark and they wouldn't be allowed to update my information for 6 months when I would be able to apply for a better position with better pay.
