I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart in Nov 2014
Interview
After putting in 1,000 apps online to several different Walmarts for 2 years, I had finally gotten a call from one Walmart saying they would love to interview me. Setting up the interview was difficult because they were looking for someone to come in the morning, but I had school and work. They were able to work around that, and asked me to come in after school on a day I didn't have to work. I was a couple minutes late due to heavy traffic, but I had called and let them know I was going to be late. (I wore a dressy white shirt and black dress pants.) When I got there, me and another girl waited for about 30 minutes before they called us back (she was wearing a jean jacket and jeans with a v-neck.) They interviewed us both together. After the interview was over, one of the hiring managers said she felt we both would be perfect for the job, and didn't require a second interview.

Quick. Painless. Student Job Fair. They were hiring many young folks so being a young folk myself I jumped at this tremendous opportunity. The lady who interviewed me was a member of the HR department and asked me about my past experiences with handling money, stocking shelves and customer service.
