I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Dumas, TX) in May 2016
Interview
Very brief, behavioral style questions I only got asked one question. Everyone was very nice and helpful and professional. At the end of the interview, I was told that they would run a background check and that they would be in touch. After 2 or 3 days, they called me to attend orientation the following week. Orientation was 2 full days and 2 half days then I was given a schedule to start working.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond to be helpful to someone
Easy, basic questions about yourself and company , online application, in person interview, same day offer, next week orientation. Manager was nice, 10-15 minute group interview, ask about comopny, applied for merchandiser
Easy and smooth interview process. As long as you will show up to work every day and do a decent job they will hire you. Most of the managers were nice and easy to deal with.
I first applied online and completed the assessment, which was pretty straightforward. After that, I had an interview that included about 2–3 behavioral questions and 1 technical question. The behavioral ones focused on things like teamwork and handling situations with customers, while the technical wasn’t too hard and felt manageable. Overall, the process was simple and not intimidating, and I felt like Walmart kept it direct and to the point.
