I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walmart in May 2025
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me a few weeks after I applied to this role. Then it was radio slience for another three weeks until a different recruiter reached out to me to schedule the loop interview. That was on May 14th and it has been radio silence since then. I know Walmart is going through layoffs/other changes but to have absolutely no communication about next steps a MONTH later is bonkers.

Question 1
How have you handled a difficult client in the past?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Apr 2026
Interview
My first round interview process was an initial screening focused on understanding my background, experience, and overall fit for the role. It was mainly conversational and conducted by the hiring manager.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Oct 2025
Interview
This was my first interview after a 150 applications this year. Was pretty excited. Was surprised because Walmart had several rounds of layoffs this year and they were prioritizing internal hires. And Walmart recruiters are notorious for lack of response or entitlement. But this recruiter was not. She seemed fair from the get go. Phone Screening by recruiter followed by Hiring Manager and 30 minute interview over zoom. Hiring manager was awesome, wish I could work with her and her team.
Phone screen was simple. Basic questions to determine how professional you sound and whether you meet basic criteria for the role. The phone screening invite though came from something like a scam email Cora from paradox.ai.. apparently it's a scheduling software that recruiters use.

Question 1
Basic S.T.A.R method questions. Tell me about a time you had to handle a difficult client and how you responded
There were three interviews total so it is relatively simple compared to other companies and the interviews were not that intense more casual and colloquial. Recruiters were not that on top of things though
