EA also acquires small firms pretty frequently so we get new people all the time, but we’re still somehow short staffed?? I’m currently working with 5 different managers in different offices and somehow I’m the only preparer and I’m a senior. So all of their projects they’re also all of mine for the time being and I can’t funnel any of the work down to staff or interns. Downside of acquiring all these small firms are the workpapers can sometimes be unnecessarily messy or you’re building from scratch because the firm or teams don’t have established workpaper templates.
