I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Goodyear, AZ) in Feb 2020
Interview
I was called in by the department manager after a few weeks of applying. The interview was casual and all that happened was she took me into her office, she explained the job to me and took me on a tour to see the deli area. The questions asked, which were in a casual format were "Tell me about yourself?" "Why do you want to work for Walmart?" I showed up in professional, business casual clothing with a well versed and formatted resume which they were impressed by.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Portland, OR) in Dec 2019
Interview
It was easy. I actually went in there applying for a stock position and the manager who was giving me the interview offered this position instead. I would say the particular Walmart (neighborhood market) was interested in personalities and wanted to hire people whom they confidently could invest their time into.
