I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Walmart (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2010
Interview
First, I had a phone screen with the recruiter. Very basic questions about experience and some behavioral questions. Then a panel interview with HR person, Operations person and a person from Asset Protection. Again, a basic behavioral competency interview but with more depth and follow-up questions. This was followed up by a business plan exercise. This consisted of coming up with a plan to address an underperforming market that I got assigned to and how I would turn it around. I then had to present my plan verbally to the panel. I was called the following week and told I got the job. I had to get a drug screen and background check prior to hire.
