I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Blackfoot, ID) in Jun 2012
Interview
The online application was simple. A few days later, I got a phone call from the store asking if I could come in during the next week for an interview. I accepted and came in, dressed in just jeans and a nice shirt with tennis shoes. One of the managers took me into one of the back rooms and asked me a list of questions. This was my first job interview ever, so I was probably more nervous than I should have been. The manager asked me very simple questions, but I was sweating up a storm. At the end of the interview, however, the manager told me that it was very likely that I was going to be hired because I answered all of the questions very impressively.

Question 1
Most difficult question: "Describe a time when you were faced with an unexpected problem and you had to make an on-the-spot decision to fix the problem. Did you solve the problem on your own or did you need help?"
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Colorado Springs, CO) in Oct 2013
Interview
Once you arrive you will wait in the lobby in the back of the store near electronics until called back. Your first interview will be simple and only consist of around 5 basic questions and some paper work. Then they will either give you the second interview right then with the manager or tell you to go home and wait for them to call you. (Means you likely didn't get the job.)

Question 1
Easy and basic questions that will include things like "Think about a time whenever you needed to do something but had limited amount of time to get it done, what was it and what did you do to get it done in time?"
