I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Jul 2019
Interview
Those who are working at Walmart at these roles and in hiring manager roles already know how the process is BROKEN. Every hiring manager follows his or her
own process and for months the roles remain open until they find a person who has previously done the same job at another company and then hire them for Walmart.
I was interacting with one of the popular recruiters TB and communications was broken at each step of the way. Her inefficiencies has caused more candidates a job offer than the ones who got one. Worst part was the recruiters steal profiles from staffing agencies and potentially end up not paying agencies for the candidates as the resumes submitted to one team is picked up by another team actively trying to recruit you without the staffing agency’s knowledge.
One would think this is a one off experience but no it’s not. This was the case time and again across teams and hiring managers.
