Interview
Phone call to schedule interview. Then they pull you to the back into the personnel office. It didnt seem like a real interview to me. It was really laid back.

Question 1
What have you done in a situation when you were supposed to have something do and didn't meet the deadline
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Maryland, NY) in Jun 2011
Interview
I applied online and got a call. This was my first "starter" job so I was excited even to work at walmart.
The interview is a behavioral interview, they do a few questions with who will be your department manager and they rank you on like a 1 to 5 (maybe 1 to 10) system based on each question.
After this you will do a group interview with some of the managers which is more or less just trying to get to know you. If you pass both the interview next is the drug test and you are hired. All of these interviews were done in the same day. I had to wait until I was 18 to start, so I didn't get the formal job offer until my birthday. Enjoy your new job at walmart! They pay more than most starting retail places despite the complaining of the employees. Most places start at 7.25 in my state and I started a dollar above that and it was jacked up another 25 cents after a few months.
I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Marietta, GA) in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview went really well, I did have lots of knowledge for the department I was going to work in and the manager could see I was eager to work. However whenever I needed help there was never help around from my immediate manager.
