I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart in Apr 2015
Interview
Applied online. Half a week later got a call for an interview. Interview at 10 am at the store. Met the department manager for an interview. Asked 2 questions. Then came back in the afternoon for another interview with the store manager. Asked about work experience then go over job description and signed the paperwork. Then do background check and drug screen. It was pretty simple and easy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Name a situation where you had to prioritize for a project and how did you do it. (Or something like that)
2. Name a time when you had to help someone resolve a problem and how did you do it. (Or something like that)
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Gainesville, FL) in Jan 2011
Interview
All interviews are in a standardized format with questions preselected by higher-ups. This is a good way to keep the interviews focused, however this is not always the best way to find out what you really need to know before hiring someone. Overall this was a very streamlined interview process amd quite easy to understand and get through.

Question 1
Name a time you went above and beyond the call of duty to help someone. What was the situation and what was the outcome?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Springdale, AR) in Jan 2015
Interview
I went in with a resume, they told me to apply online. YOU NEED to apply online. It is a survey that takes about an hour to complete. I had an interview later that day. The interview was fairly short maybe 10 mins and they wanted to know how you would react to certain situations. A normal job hiring process revolves around 3 interviews with different people but they said I was such an optimal choice for the job that no further interviews were required. After the interview I just needed to give a drug test and background check. The entire process start to finish took about 5 hours from applying to being hired
