I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Walmart in Mar 2022
Interview
Reached out by the recruiter. First round was with the hiring manager. Asked a few coding questions and then ML/data science technical question. Then, interviews with three other managers which went smoothly, each of them asked technical questions about some of these areas: SQL, Python, ML, statistics, and some questions about my experience. The last interview was with the lead of the team, who, unlike the managers, was rude and kept asking questions that was clearly not on my resume and expertise when their recruiter reached out to me, in a critical and negative manner. If it was not for this last person, I would have said my experience was positive.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Jan 2022
Interview
Overall 2+ months. Typical "big company" process: Recruiter, Phone tech, and 4 rounds virtual onsite. The recruiter was pretty nice. However the virtual onsite was a big mess. The interviewers were on the same page. They were not well trained. Some might be nice and prepare a good interview, trying to know your skills. But some were very disrespectful and extremely unprofessional.
